Yet here we are with Trump, a master of fraud and deception, in a bevy of criminal trials, not for his indiscretions, but for covering them up to steal an election, the voice of the people.

This situation is like something out of Hunter S. Thompson’s wildest imagination. The “Hush Money Trial of the Century” will be the only trial, out of many, to hold Trump accountable. Despite other serious allegations, the media won’t let us forget about Trump’s audacity while never truly understanding his actual criminality.

In this age of grift, even Tucker Carlson re-editing Capitol footage to reinterpret January 6th as peaceful, shows how far we’ve fallen. It’s a world of gaslighting and misinformation.

The Current Reality
